The Details

We are a congregation of people in the community of Flatonia, Moulton, Muldoon, and Weider, Texas who share traditional values and beliefs about God, the Father, God, the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We believe the Bible is God's Word to us and that it contains all we need to know about salvation and our present, and future life, with God. We welcome all persons as we are a congregation of all persons. Our people are friendly. We love children and youth. We have a church bus and will pick you or your children up if you live in the local area, and return you to your homes after worship. This is completely free of charge, of course. We believe our mission is of utmost importance: we are in the business of introducing people to Jesus Christ and joining to worship His Father through Him in the power of the Holy Spirit. Without Christ, there is no real, enduring hope. There is no everlasting joy. There is incomplete peace. And worst of all, there is no eternal life with God. But with Jesus, we have certain hope, joy in our spirit, and complete peace, knowing we have God, the Holy Spirit dwelling in our mortal bodies and giving us eternal life with God. All this is free, without any cost. God gives us this salvation; this relationship with him, if we only ask. This is the message we have for people who worship with us each and every Sunday and attend our various Bible studies and other activities throughout the week. The music for worship is both contemporary and traditional, but usually not in the same service. We have traditional worship on the 1st, 4th, and 5th Sundays and at most special services like Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, and Holy (Maundy) Thursday. On the 2nd and 3rd Sundays, we have contemporary music led by our Praise Band. We celebrate Holy Communion on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month.
